東京育ちで奥さんの実家に移り住んだ人に「東京が恋しいでしょう。」と聞くと「戻る気はない。瀬戸内の方が全て食べ物がおいしい。」と言っていた。
地元になじむため謙遜だろうと思っていたが、「おいしい神田」と言うタイトルを見て本心だと解った。タイトルが「何だ！神田！！」なら理解できる。
その人も「でも、ラーメン次郎の味だけは思いだす。」と言っていた。
東京は金持ちが住むには楽しそうだが、庶民は大変だな。
