ガキの頃は自分と他人(虫)の差異を意識しないが、大人になると理解出来ない物に恐怖を抱く
成長過程で徐々にその差異に気付き慣れていくなら恐怖はないが、何かしらの理由で他人(虫)と接触しない期間が長くなると理解が進まず恐怖症になる
