この草履の話も極論だが逆に昔ヨーロッパなんかわウンコ踏みまくった状態でも室内で靴のまま生活したんかな？

田中角栄以前は都内でも未舗装路がかなり多かったけど大正期には靴文化に変わってた
結局は材料と技術の問題よ

牛乳も飲まないから牝牛を無理に常時子持ちにしておく必要もなくて
子牛の供給も少ない
となると履きつぶす運命にある革靴は庶民が使えるほど行き渡らない
加えて風呂好きだから埃や泥で汚れた足を帰宅時に毎回洗うことに抵抗がないのも
草履や下駄の文化に影響しただろうね
